| Around 1990 I moved out with my girlfriend into an apartment in Epping, Sydney Australia. From the first day we sensed a presence in the apartment. We had a long hallway leading from the lounge room to the bedroom and while watching tv we’d constantly turn around thinking someone was walking up the hallway. When lying in bed on your own, the corner of the bed would sink down like a cat jumped on it or someone sat there but there was never anything there. The final “proof” we had of a paranormal experience was when I went to the fridge and the fridge door slammed shut on me. It was violent enough that items in the door shelves were spilled and we had to clean it up. My fingers were red and sore from the fridge door being ripped out of my hand. We told the neighbors and they laughed and said we’d met the resident ghost. The spirit of an old lady that died in the apartments. She would seek out quiet apartments so when someone went away for holidays, she’d move in, then when you returned , she’d get angry and hang around until she found a quieter apartment. |
